Directions from the North

From Welshpool, follow the A483 south through Newtown, and on to Caersws. At the railway level crossing, continue along A470 for Llangurig, which will bring you to the roundabout on the approach to the village. At the roundabout, take the A44 towards Aberystwyth into the village. Immediately in front of the Black Lion Hotel, turn left just before the Post Office, crossing the river Wye, and proceed on along the lane, branching right (NB) after about a quarter of a mile. This lane to the right winds up the hillside and ends just beyond the main Clochfaen House.

Directions from the South

From Rhayader, follow the A470 for Llangurig. At the roundabout on the approach to the village, take the A44 towards Aberystwyth into the village.
